Whirlpool UK Appliances Limited - Coronavirus Update

Last updated:

Our services really matter to our customers, where having fully functioning appliances is critical and this is even more crucial at this time. Whilst the impact on businesses and individuals continues and is unprecedented, please be reassured that we are operating as usual. We continue to support you, our customers, but are ensuring we do so safely for everyone. The health and safety of our colleagues and their families is our top priority.

Following the latest advice from Public Health England regarding the spread of coronavirus, if you or a family member within your household have developed symptoms or are already self-isolating, please be responsible and only select an appointment date for after your isolation period is due to end.

If you are self-isolating due to a government enforced quarantine restrictions, after return to the UK from a foreign country we would not be able to enter the property.

If you already have an appointment booked, please cancel or rebook.

Once the appointment is booked

When our driver or engineer arrives:

Our team will attempt to contact you whilst en route to you and reconfirm that there are no Covid 19 related issues that could prevent your delivery such as if you are self-isolating or displaying symptoms. If the appointment proceeds then you must ensure that social distancing guidelines are respected so please do not enter the room that they will be working in and ensure windows in the room are opened if possible. Also please ensure that any doors that our colleagues will need to pass through are wedged open to avoid touchpoints. To further reduce touchpoints, please ensure clear access to any plumbing (if applicable), removing any obstacles such as bottles under sink units, etc.

Upon arrival, our team will have sanitised their hands and will be wearing PPE, in the form of gloves and face masks. We ask that you maintain a distance of 2 metres from our team and preferably remain in a different room. If this is not possible we ask you to maintain a minimum distance of 1 metre and recommend that you also wear a face mask for additional protection.

Failure to observe social distancing guidelines may result in your delivery or repair not being completed.
